The Comfy Quilter is stitching its way into the application industry by bringing eloquent design methods to the customer for a comfortable experience when designing their quilt projects at their fingertips.
My main goal is to create the ability for a quilter to see what the quilting design will look like on the quilt before it is quilted.
Sometimes the hardest part is not designing, it is interpreting what a client really wants. Design needs to look good and work well. Juggling visual flair with usabillity can feel like walking a tightrope.
When a quilter sends out the quilt, they worked multiple hours on to the longarm quilter they either leave the quilting design decision up to the longarmer or they pick from a book of designs.
My app will allow the quilter to upload a picture of their quilt along with the measurements so that they can “audition” the edge-to-edge quilting designs the longarmer has to offer. It will allow the visualization of the design on their quilt before it is completed.
